Vehicle Technician - electronics/electrical

Support sustainment of in-service military vehicles for the Australian Army where you will have the opportunity to directly support installation and capability of key command, control and communications on board. Roles available: Vehicle technicians

12 Month contract with possible long-term extension pending Defence approval.

Role details:

• Assembly, test, fault finding and installation of critical C4i systems for military use
• Support engineering services and technical reporting
• Technical documentation development and manage user manuals
• Repair, dissemble and reassemble of vehicles sub-systems in according with technical drawings and specifications
• Utilise test equipment and practice safe working
• Support training and instruction of military personnel
• Quality assurance, technical reporting and manage continuous improvement
• Maintenance setup and project planning

What we require:

• Tertiary qualifications in either electronics, communications, networking or similar.
• Ability to work in a pressured environment and adhere to MIL-STDs
• Reinstatable or active defence clearance Baseline or above level; Australian Citizenship essential
• Collaborative attitude and willing to travel for work as needed to site locations
• Fit and able to complete medical assessments and lift minimum 10 - 20 Kilos on a semi-regular basis where needed.
• MUST have a current or reinstatable Baseline or above level secuirty clearance.
